After a year of ownership, we made a few changes to the Ebisu. We switched to a proper Brooks saddle, and went to Jitensha's new flat bar from Nitto. I added spooky brakes just to give them more of that old mafac look. I improved on the cantilever routing by going to a larger pulley with ball bearings. Now, when I clamp down on the pulley, it's still free to spin.
My wife still loves riding the bike. My next project is to add a Velo Orange rear rack, and utility baskets.
