Ok, I swear this is the third and final installment of the Rambouillet build.
I've made a few changes in the interest of practicallity. This was prompted by a visit to Rivendell where I rode a bike with Tektro interrupter levers.
It was a revelation. "MUST HAVE." I said to myself.
In the process, I changed even more things about the bike. I Switched back to Shimano Sidepull brake, also using some Nokon cables I had lying around. Switched from the old Campy SR levers to a set of Cane Creek SCR-5. Tektro Interrupters of course.
The bike is a 64CM, and so to match the large frame, I moved up to 48CM Noodle Bars... the largest I know if. To top it all off, I used some Leather handlebar tape available at Jitensha Studio. The feel is amazing. The brakes have zero slop in them, the wide bars feel fantastic, and the leather bar tape has this amazing feel to it.
